Eugene Twist's second album 'The Stuntman' arrives with one mission: to let the storyteller run riot inside the song. The lyrical arena boasts whistleblowers, extraterrestrials and self-consuming psychonauts to name a few.
As a multi-instrumentalist with an ear for production, Eugene took time to build a makeshift studio and learn how to record. Setting up in an old furniture warehouse, large drum chambers and screens were fashioned from junk and jetsam of the nearby River Clyde. From spat-out surrealism to politicised anthems and mystical ballads, ‘The Stuntman’ is the sound of an artist stretching his legs, and possibly consuming them. Do listen on...
